Project Overview
A proposal for upcoming operations on the offered Primary Mining Licence PML005013 SZ, an area of 4.85 hectares, located at the Pindiro–Makanganga gypsum deposit close to Makanganga Village, Kilwa District, Lindi Region — approximately 400 km from Dar es Salaam.
Location
The concession sits about 400 km south of Dar es Salaam (130 km south of Kilwa, 100 km north of Lindi), accessible via the Dar–Lindi road turning west at Kiranjeranje onto a 25 km gravel road. It can also be reached via Mtwara Airport, nearly 100 km drive.
The main road passes near the gypsum occurrences and is passable year-round, though some minor roads pose problems in the December–May rainy season.
